Rainbet Blackjack

Rainbet Blackjack Original

Built in-house for our Originals section, Rainbet Blackjack is a provably fair 21 game with a 99.60% RTP, an 8-deck shoe and a dealer who stands on all 17s. Play the main bet alone or add two side bets, on desktop or in your mobile browser. Stakes run from 0.10 to 100,000 per hand, and a free demo table opens before you deposit.

Rainbet Blackjack Features

Of all the games in our Originals section, Blackjack is the one we point to first when someone asks what sets us apart. Rainbet Blackjack is built in-house rather than licensed from a studio, and it returns 99.60% on the main bet – the highest RTP of our 14 Originals. That beats the 99.43% on Stake’s version. The live counter on the game page shows more than 224 million bets placed so far, and every one of them can be checked after the deal.

  • 99.60% RTP on the main bet, which leaves a house edge of just 0.40%.
  • 8-deck shoe shuffled fresh for every hand, so no shoe is ever running hot or cold.
  • Dealer stands on all 17s, soft 17 included.
  • Blackjack pays 3:2 on a natural, not the 6:5 many tables have moved to.
  • Two optional side bets – Perfect Pairs on your first two cards and 21+3 on those two plus the dealer’s upcard.
  • Demo mode with a Place Demo Bet button to try every rule here before you deposit.
  • Instant Play mode that skips the dealing animation when you want fast hands.
  • Fair Play tab inside the game with your seeds, the nonce and a verifier for every result.

The specification below is the one we show in the info panel on the table itself, so what you read on this page is what the table actually pays. The Blackjack Rainbet offers in the Originals section is our own build, and the side bets sit on top of the main hand rather than inside it. Leave them out whenever you want the full 99.60% figure.

Stakes start at a Blackjack minimum bet of 0.10, which is there for anyone who wants to learn the buttons or test the strategy chart further down at almost no cost. The top end is 100,000 per hand, the level you see in the high-roller feed under the game. Between them sits the 800,000 maximum payout per hand, which caps what a single hand returns no matter how many splits, doubles and side bets are on the table. All limits are shown in your account currency.

How to Play Rainbet Blackjack?

Anyone who has played 21 before will recognise the table in seconds, and anyone who hasn’t needs about two minutes. The steps below show how to play Blackjack on Rainbet from the lobby to a settled hand on a phone screen. On desktop the same panel sits under the cards, with nothing added or taken away.

  1. Open the Originals section.

Tap Casino in the bottom bar, open Rainbet Originals and choose the Blackjack tile from the grid, or type Blackjack into the search field at the top. On desktop the same section sits in the left-hand menu.

  2. Set your stake.

Tap a chip from the row under the table to add it to the bet field, or type an amount straight into the field and adjust it with the ½ and 2x buttons. The minimum is 0.10, and the Fair Play tab in the top corner stays within reach the whole time.

  3. Add side bets if you want them.

Flip the Side Bets switch under the chips and two extra fields appear: Perfect Pair, paid on your first two cards, and 21+3, paid on your two cards plus the dealer’s upcard. Each field has its own ½ and 2x buttons and settles on its own, whatever happens to the main hand.

  4. Deal and play your hand.

Press Place Bet – it reads Place Demo Bet while you play for free. You get two cards face up and the dealer one up, one down; if the dealer shows an Ace, insurance is offered first. Then Hit for a card, Stand to keep your total, Double for one more card at double the stake, or Split a pair – the Split button lights up only when you hold one.

  5. Read the result.

The dealer draws to 17 and stands on every 17. In the hand shown the dealer runs to 23 and busts, so 18 wins at 1:1. Wins, pushes and losses settle at once, the Fair Play tab lets you verify the cards, and Place Bet starts the next hand.

There is no download in any of this. The game runs in the browser on desktop and mobile, and our official Blackjack app is in development. Until it ships, the quickest route on a phone is to save the site to your home screen and open the Originals tab from there. Rules, limits and the Fair Play tab are identical on every screen size.

Game Rules

Most of the originals Blackjack rules match what you know from a casino floor, with a few deliberate changes that come from the way our shoe is generated. Here is the complete rule set as it applies at our table.

Game rules of Rainbet Blackjack
  • The aim is to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over: 2 to 10 count at face value, J, Q and K count 10, an Ace counts 1 or 11.
  • We shuffle 8 decks together and deal every hand from a fresh shoe, so the same card can appear twice in one round.
  • A natural Blackjack pays 3:2, and the dealer stands on all 17s, soft 17 included.
  • Hit, Stand and Double are open on every hand; Double gives exactly one more card and ends your turn.
  • Any pair can be split, including two different 10-value cards such as a King and a Queen; split Aces get one card each, then the turn ends.
  • Insurance is offered against a dealer Ace and pays 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack.
  • Perfect Pairs settles on your first two cards and 21+3 on those plus the dealer’s upcard, whatever happens to the main hand.

The shoe is the point to keep in mind. Because every hand starts from a new 8-deck shuffle (416 cards), what you saw in the previous round says nothing about the next one. That is exactly what makes the result verifiable: the shoe is a direct output of your seed pair and nonce, not of a running count.

Blackjack RTP and Payouts

The RTP figures come from billions of simulated rounds, and the main-bet number assumes you play basic strategy – stray from it and you hand back a little of the 99.60%. The side bets are a different proposition: Perfect Pairs returns 95.90% and 21+3 returns 96.30%, which puts them in line with a good slot rather than with the main hand. Treat them as an optional extra, not the main event of a session.

Keep a few Blackjack odds in mind at an 8-deck table. You are dealt a natural about 4.75% of the time, roughly one hand in 21. A dealer showing a 6 busts about 42% of the time, while a dealer Ace busts only around 17%. Under an Ace the dealer has Blackjack about 31% of the time, which is why insurance at 2:1 loses money in the long run and why the chart below never takes it.

Basic Blackjack Strategy

A 0.40% edge cannot be beaten over a single session, but basic strategy is what keeps it at 0.40% instead of 2% or more. The Blackjack strategy chart below follows the standard multi-deck chart published by Wizard of Odds, applied to our exact rules – 8 decks, dealer stands on all 17s, Blackjack pays 3:2. It fits on one screen, so keep it open next to the table until the decisions become automatic.

Basic strategy for Rainbet Blackjack
  • Hard 17 or more and soft 19 or more: always stand. Hard 8 or less: always hit.
  • Hard 13 to 16: stand against a dealer 2 to 6, hit against 7 to Ace. Hard 12: stand against 4 to 6, otherwise hit.
  • Hard 9 to 11: double a 9 against 3 to 6, a 10 against 2 to 9, an 11 against 2 to 10; otherwise hit.
  • Soft 13 to 16 (A-2 to A-5): double against 5 and 6 (A-4 and A-5 also against 4), otherwise hit.
  • Soft 17 (A-6): double against 3 to 6, otherwise hit. Soft 18 (A-7): double against 3 to 6, stand against 2, 7 and 8, hit against 9, 10 and Ace.
  • Pairs: always split Aces and 8s, never 10s, 5s or 4s; split 9s against 2 to 6 and 8 to 9, 7s against 2 to 7, 6s against 3 to 6, 2s and 3s against 4 to 7.
  • Insurance: decline it every time.

Two things the chart cannot do for you. It cannot tell you anything about the next card, because the 8 decks are reshuffled before every hand and card counting is pointless – there is no running count to keep. And it says nothing about the side bets, because no decision of yours changes a 95.90% or 96.30% return. If you play them, play them for the 100:1 and 25:1 moments and size them as entertainment.

Rainbet Original Blackjack Demo

A free table is built into the game, and it runs on the same 8-deck shoe and the same 99.60% rules as the real one. Open Blackjack from the Originals section before you deposit and the button under the cards reads Place Demo Bet. Every Blackjack demo hand is dealt without touching your balance, which makes it the place to learn the buttons, try the side bets and run through the strategy chart for free.

Demo table of Rainbet Blackjack

Treat it as a rehearsal rather than a forecast. Demo hands cost nothing and pay nothing. Because every real-money hand is dealt from a fresh shoe tied to your own seed pair, nothing you saw in the demo carries into the first real hand. Once there is money in your account, the same button reads Place Bet and the table stays exactly where it was.

Is Rainbet Blackjack Rigged?

No, and you do not have to take our word for it. The question “is Rainbet Blackjack rigged” has a mechanical answer, because every hand is dealt from a shoe generated by HMAC-SHA512 from three inputs. Those inputs are a server seed we commit to as a hash before you bet, a client seed you change whenever you like, and a nonce that counts your bets. The cards are therefore fixed before the first one is turned over, and here is how you check any hand you have played:

Provably fair check for Rainbet Blackjack
  1. Before you bet, open the Fair Play tab at the top of the game and note your active client seed and the hashed server seed.
  2. Play the hand or hands you want to check.
  3. Rotate your seed pair from the same tab. This reveals the unhashed server seed for every hand played on the old pair, and a new hashed seed takes over for the next bets.
  4. Open the Bets page, click the bet ID of the hand in question and press the Provably Fair link to see its server seed, client seed and nonce.
  5. Paste the three values into our Blackjack game verifier and compare the cards it generates with the ones you were dealt.
  6. Run the code yourself if you prefer: the verifier page shows the exact function that turns the seeds into an 8-deck shoe, and it works offline.

The hash is what makes this binding. A server seed cannot be swapped after the fact without breaking the hash you saw before the deal, and the client seed is yours, so the shoe is not something we can steer in either direction. Provably fair does not make the game more generous – the 0.40% edge stays exactly where the paytable puts it – but it removes the need to trust us, and that is the point.

FAQ

Yes. Our own Blackjack Original runs at 99.60% RTP with provably fair results. Next to it sit more than 20 live dealer tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Play, including Lightning Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack and the tables Pragmatic Play runs under our own name. RNG versions from NetEnt and BGaming round out the list.

Open the Fair Play tab in the game and rotate your seed pair to reveal the server seed. Then enter the server seed, client seed and nonce of the hand into our Blackjack game verifier, which rebuilds the 8-deck shoe and shows the exact cards that were dealt.
No. Both welcome bonus options switch off games with an RTP above 97.4%, and Blackjack is one of them. Once the bonus is completed, the table opens again.
